Annette and Brett were such a pleasure to work with. One the way to the West side I was driving through pouring rain and driving 40mph because I couldn’t hardly see the road. We debated rescheduling but decided to continue and see what the weather did. I arrived at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes and it was still pouring and the lake was a gorgeous grayish sea foam color with rolling dark clouds. After sitting in my car for about twenty minutes waiting for my first engagement session of the day the rain slowed down to a drizzle. By the time my first couple and I made it up to the dunes, the sun was breaking through the clouds and the rain had stopped completely! I messaged Annette and Brett and we decided to confirm the shoot that evening. As you can tell, the weather only got better from there. We were in awe of the golden hour and sunset, I guess it just goes to show that the weather can surprise us at any time!
